          Tyeps of cookies
          There are two main macro categories with different characteristics: technical cookies and profiling cookies
Technical cookies are generally required for proper operation of the website and for navigation purposes; without them you may not be able to properly visualize web pages or enjoy some services. For example, a technical cookie is indispensable to keep the user connected along the entire duration of his visit or to memorize language and visualization settings and so on. Technical cookies can be furtherly categorized into:
          • navigation cookies, which guarantee regular navigation and use  of the website (for example, enabling the user to make an online  purchase or login to reserved areas);
          • analytical cookies assimilated to technical cookies only when used directly by the website controller to collect aggregated information about the number of users and the way they enjoy the website.
          • functionality cookies which enable users to navigate based on a series of selected criteria (for example, language, product selected for purchase) to improve the service offered. Profiling cookies are more sophisticated. They are used to create user profiles and send customized promotional messages based on the user’s preferences expressed during navigation. Cookies may also have different durations:
          • session cookies: these are deleted immediately upon closing of the navigation browser.
          • permanent cookies (also called persistent cookies): this kind of cookies is kept active in the computer up to its expiry date or deletion by the user. They are not deleted at the end of the session and they are used to provide information about your navigation to the website that sent them. For example, they may be used to identify the device connecting to the website, making authentication operations easier for the user. As for the cookies’ source, there are:
          • first-party cookies: these cookies are sent to your browser directly from the website that you are navigating.
          • third-party cookies: these cookies are sent to your computer by other websites and not by the one you are navigating. Persistent cookies are often third-parties cookies.
